This model line is a tremendous entry level brush and represent great value in a hand crafted product.
The Beauforts handle is hand-turned on a lathe, then smoothed and polished by hand. The knot is very densely packed by hand in Pure badger. The handle has a raised ringlet near the center which gives good grip and outstanding balance to this under-loved beauty. This is one of the nicest handles that Simpsons or anybody else makes.
