Pierre Rampal established the family firm in 1828. Pierre was a Soap Master in Marseille, the city with the most stringent legal & cultural requirements for soap making.
Today in the heart of Provence, the 6th generation of the Rampal family continues the tradition and philosophy of purity and exceptional artisanal craftsmanship. They operate out of the little store shown above and their soaps are highly renowned throughout France.
All Rampal Latour products are made from carefully controlled natural ingredients and 100% pure vegetable oils. The soaps are completely biodegradable and not tested on animals. No animal fats are used in these fantastic soaps, only pure vegetable oils.
As our customers know we carry a large selection of fabuluous, high end, skin friendly bath soaps. We must say that the best soaps in the world are made in Provence, where quality and craftsmanship are stingently governed by French law going back to one of the first Royal decree's issued in France in the mid-1600's.
