LA COMPAGNIE DE PROVENCE - Superb Savon De Marseille
Not just From PROVENCE, but from Marseilles !!!!

LA COMPAGNIE DE PROVENCE is committed to maintaining the time honored and world reknowned traditions of the master soap makers of France.

Since 1688, French Soapmasters have been creating extraordinarily pure, skin nourishing anti-bacterial soaps.

Traditionally, there are two different types of MARSEILLE SOAP.

One with vegetable oils of COPRAH and PALM which is a light beige in color.

The second contains an additional amount of OLIVE OIL (40 TO 50%) giving this formulation its natural pale green color.

COPRAH OIL is derived from the COCONUT and is a blessing for skincare: it moisturizes, embellishes hair and creates a natural mousse effect.

PALM OIL is extracted from the Elaeis Guineensis Palm tree and boasts virtues of restructuring and protecting the skin. It also is an excellent natural detergent.

OLIVE OIL is renowned for exquisite nourishing qualities. Meditteranean women have treasured the skincare secrets of the OLIVE for thousands of years.

These ingredients, along with delicate mixtures of Alkaline Ash from sea flora and Mediterranean sea salts are processed beginning with natural filtering of the oils.

Then a boiling process in antique iron cauldrons evaporates excess water and any impurities. The base receives a final heating and then goes through a purifying phase where the mixture is rinsed with pure water.

It is this final purifying phase which awards LA COMPAGNIE DE PROVENCE soaps the offical, legal appellation of EXTRA PURE.

Finally, the purified mixture is dried for 48 hours in sunshine and fresh air then it is molded and milled to perfection before being lovingly stamped: LA COMPAGNIE DE PROVENCE.

We are pleased to be able to offer what is truly one of the worlds OUTSTANDING line of Bath Products. LA COMPAGNIE DE PROVENCE soaps are considered by many in France, a nation enthralled with gourmet soaps, to be the finest in the world.
