These "Medical Device License Fees" will serve them very well by quashing any young up-start competition with a conscious. So the ToothBrush police can protect the public from all but Chinese nylon toothbrushes imported by "Big Teeth".
How are you going to feel when down the road a few years the oppressive Federal Leviathan decides you can only buy a toothbrush with a Prescription from your Dentist? After all, your health & safety is all that matters to everybody who works at the various Bureau's of Oppression in Washington DC. Just ask them ! You laugh? You just wait. And while they are at it prehaps qualified/certified dental technicians should be the only ones allowed to brush your teeth for you since you probably can't brush them right & might just hurt you gums if you do it yourself.
